I recently learned that one of the causes of cellulite is from a lack of movement, and how it can be minimized or prevented.

I personally spend hours a day sitting, so I understand that having cellulite (on the back of the legs, for example) is a natural reaction of the body.

There is science that explains how cellulite can be reduced and many techniques that can help with it. Maderotherapy (wood therapy) is a form of massage that uses various hand-held wooden tools. It is known for breaking down cellulite, promoting blood circulation, smoothing the skin, and reducing stress.

I am passionate about collaborating with trustful and talented professionals to create a space where we can incorporate these treatments to our self-care practices. So it makes me feel proud to announce that paarbe is now offering Maderotherapy by collaborating with my Ten Thousand Waves coworker, LMT Emily Zushi.

Emily is a licensed massage therapist with a background in sound healing, mental health, and social services. In addition to Maderotherapy, Emily is also incorporating dry brushing, lymphatic massage, and body wraps to stimulate a richer body detox, leaving skin looking and feeling smoother.
